An edited version of Sword and Fairy 7: Part 17 has been released. Using the RUclips Editor, I removed about 20 minutes from the video. Don't worry. What is removed is not story content. 1) looking through a list of side quests within my quest journal 2) looking through and arranging my abilities and trying to decide which ones to use / keep due to only being able to have 8 abilities equipped at a time. 3) feeding the spirits

What brightness levels look best? Darker or lighter? You can't adjust the gamma settings in-game, so I typically use the scenery or theater monitor profile setting to locally view the game with higher gamma and brightness levels. However, this doesn't capture when recording.

In case anyone was wondering why I kept adjusting the brightness levels. I am playing this game on an old 60 hz 12 year 1920 x 1080p PC monitor. Scenery and Theater mode adjusts the gamma setting on my monitor which makes this game look really nice. However, the video capture doesn't capture the monitor setting and there is no gamma adjustment setting in-game to tweak. I guess I should just optimize it for srgb instead. For those of you who have newer monitors, what looks best ... darker or lighter?

Note: I only worked on side quests. There are no main story updates within this episode / video. In my opinion, the only quest of significance was where I obtained the poison spirit.

I haven't played this game on Helldive difficulty for 3 weeks / since June 14, 2024. I had only been playing once a week for a few hours on level 5 and 6 with a friend who's not able to play at higher difficulty. I felt rusty. Simultaneously, I felt very drowsy / tired probably because I hadn't gotten enough sleep lately. I started playing this game hoping it would wake me up. Anyways, in the end, it all worked out with 2 successful missions. Though I'm still tired, at least I was able to upload a new Helldivers 2 video which is what I had wanted to do for a while. Also, I still need to collect samples to upgrade my starship fully. I was 2 upgrades away from finishing it which was what my goal was. Now, Arrowhead has moved the goal post with even more starship upgrades.

I frequently see a lot of delicious food from Asia in anime, video games, and RUclips videos. I wish I had the opportunity to eat most of it. I would love to also try eating the unique looking vegetables and fruits as well. Do any of you feel the same when watching Anime, video games, etc.?

Most likely, this will be the last video that I make for PowerWash Simulator. It's not that I don't enjoy the game. I do. There's also lots of potential for this game However, let's be realistic. For the average job that pays out a few hundred or more, it will take around 2 hours of real world time to complete. Ideally, for maximum enjoyment, PowerWash missions should be able to be completed within 45 minutes to an hour max with easy missions only taking 5 to 10 minutes and medium missions only taking 10 to 30 minutes. In closing, I hope that you enjoyed the gameplay / walkthrough. At the very least, I hope the ASMR / water sounds helped soothed you and maybe helped you to rest. As always, thank you for watching!

Going forward, would you rather me continue streaming this series or record and upload it at higher quality that doesn't potentially get distorted due to Internet / connection issues? I streamed at 16000 bitrate, but it looks like the stream is a bit more distorted than last time at least at the beginning / first half. Let me know in the comments below.

[My thoughts / quick review on PowerWash Simulator:] PowerWash Simulator is in concept an interesting game. However, it has extremely slow progress, is tedious, and as a game is generally wasteful of a player's limited time. Just to give you an example, the "back yard" mission took me from start to finish (not kidding) a little over 2 hours of real world time. That's one job. After I finally finished it, I felt relieved but also as if I never wanted to power wash anything of this scale or larger ever again. Sure, the cleaning the van mission (first mission) only took me 10 minutes and sure the cleaning the dirt bike (third mission) was extremely fast as well. However, for the large jobs it will take you an extremely long time. Perhaps with future upgrades, the jobs will be a lot quicker. For maximum enjoyment, I think the developers need to streamline the game so that even the longest missions can be 100% completed within 30 to 60 minutes max. I also think for variety and longevity sake this game needs tons of maps or perhaps self generated maps and to not just rely on dlc maps for variety. In general this game has items low to the ground and rock crevices and other crevices that are extremely hard to get to or only from an extremely narrow angle. If you're trying to 100% a mission to clean every little bit of dirt it's going to take an extremely long time. I think they should eliminate a lot of the crouching and prone work and crevice and underside work to streamline gameplay and make it more enjoyable.

Great video - I miss the original game. Tempest server. Had a bunker setup for my shipwright wookie. Tons of fun. Tried a few EMUs over the last couple of years, just discovered Restoration III - space combat seems pretty solid, Kashyyyk, and soon I'll have a bunker again. Good times.

Interesting note: Before filming, I saw another player wearing a giant Gorax (costume). However, after 2+ hours I was not able to acquire it (randomly) from Bib Fortuna. So in other words, I wasn't able to film it. That said, there might be other costumes that I missed / didn't wear also within this video. Though, it wasn't for lack of trying. What I expected to only be a 10 minute video ended up being 2 hours 23 minutes in length. There was definitely a wider selection of costumes than what I had anticipated / realized plus additional color variations among them. I was very impressed.

Please note, I apologize for the lack of audio within this video. At the time, I had assumed that none of my OBS Studio settings had changed since the last time I had previously used the program. Before filming, I should have double checked my audio source settings or at the very least have completed a test recording. Nevertheless, because I have already spent a few hours recording this and also because it is worth being able to see the event and the various costumes etc. I went ahead and uploaded it anyways. Unfortunately, you won't be able to hear the ambient sound nor music from the event nor hear all of the funny audio clips that I had added to the video while filming such as part of the Star Wars Gangsta rap with Vader (while he danced), funny HK-47 dialogue, and so much more. They mention that there are no monkeys in the Caribbean. That is not true. There is a small island in the coast of Puerto Rico full of monkeys. It was part of a university experiment. For a small fee you can get into a boat the gives a loop around this island. I saw the monkeys there.

My star wars friend group were just talking about starting up SWGL so I'm actually happy to see like full on events being a thing! Really makes the game feel alive and not just people running from quest to quest.
